Answer:

The answer is d option.

Explanation:

When we integrate a= 4t m/s^2 ,we get the velocity.

∫a = ∫4tdt

v = 4∫tdt [ We put the constant 4 out of the integration sign]

= 4 × t^2/2 [ Formula of integration: ∫x^ndx = x^(n+1)/n+1, here t is same as x]

= 2t^2

We have been asked change in velocity from 2 to 5 s

= [2t^2]5 to 2

= [2(5)^2 - 2(2)^2]

= 50 - 8

= 42

Hope it helps!
