Hey !!

Whenever an object falls towards the earth an acceleration is involved. This acceleration is due to the earth's gravitational pull and hence is called acceleration due to gravity or acceleration due to gravitational force of the path.

Acceleration due to gravity, g = GMe/R²e

where,            Me = mass of the earth

Re = radius of the earth

The value of the g on the surface of the earth is equal to 9.8 m/s²

Good luck !!
