The acceleration of a projectile relative to another projectile is zero

  • Both the particles will have same magnitude of acceleration in the same direction
  • The magintude of the acceleration of the projectiles will be -g (towards the earth)
  • The relative acceleration between the projectiles will be

               a_{12} = -g-(-g)\\

               a_{12} = 0

  • So the relative acceleration between the particles is zero
