ENDORSEMENT:

Endorsement is derived from a Latin word "endorsum" which means"on the back".If a person writes few specific words on the back of the negotiable instrument and transfers the receiving rights to another person is called Endorsement.

I'm not sure about the word endorsum may be its indorsum.
