I wish to draw your attention to the insanitary condition in your locality.
This locality has been neglected for long. There are so many pots which remain full of water in the rainy season. It becomes difficult to cross the road at night. Mosquitoes breed in the standing water. It is feared that some epidemic will break out. The so-called Disco fever has already told upon the health of the people.
The drains are not cleaned every day. The rubbish is dumped in the middle of the street. Flies keep buzzing throughout the day. Dung-heaps are not removed for days. The sweeper turns a deaf ear to the requests made to him. The Sanitary Inspector is a stranger to this locality.
It is, therefore, requested that the sanitary staff be instructed to take necessary steps in the matter.
It will be appreciated if you take a round of this locality.

We, the residents of Ward No. ____________ residing at____________ (Place) would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that we have become the extreme sufferers leading our lives in the midst of awfully insanitary condition at____________ (Name and Address of the Locality). We depict hereunder the pen- picture of the situation
Roads are uncleaned for days together by the scavengers resulting in the accumulation of garbages here and there from which bad odour is emitting always which is engulfing the entire area.
These garbages are strewn over the roads by the crows in quest of their food from the same. This has created health hazard for the people residing in this area.
When these accumulated garbages are not removed for number of days it menacingly breeds flies and mosquitoes and as such malaria and enteric fever have sprung in epidemic form in the area.
Most painfully we have to mention here that our repeated request to the local civic authorities has foiled to evoke any response from them for redressal of the pathetic situation. It is astonishing how such apathetic attitude is meted out by them when it is a gigantic state of affair.
We would request you to make it convenient to pay a personal visit to this area to take stock of the awfully and grim insanitary condition prevailing here and take immediate steps on war footing to improve the situation without further loss of time.
