Here number of animals earlier was 1500

Later it became 1000

Clearly it is a loss so Loss = 1500 - 1000

=500

We know loss% = (loss/cp or initial value) x 100

Therefore percentage of decreased animals

= (500/1500) x 100

100/3% or 33\frac{1}{3}%
