According to 'ATOMIC NUCLEUS' chapter how electon get relief into the nucleus.

As in nucleus,the outermost orbital of electron is not tightly bound due to less force of attraction. for example. in sodium metal(Na) the electronic configuration of cell like
2,8,8,1 so in outermost cell their are only one electron which is not tightly bound so it easily relief from its nucleus
