Electrostatic Force :

It is a force, which is devolved between charges in state of rest. This force was first measured by the scientist “Charles-Augustin de Coulomb”, So it's named after him.

He stated that, Electrostatic force is directly proportional to product of magnitude of charges and inversely to the square of distance between between charges. So, we can clearly say that :

\\ \bullet\ \LARGE \tt{\vec F_{e}\ \propto\ |q_1| |q_2|} \\ \\ \\ \bullet\ \LARGE  {\boxed{\boxed{\tt{ \vec F_{e}\ \propto\ \dfrac{1}{d^2}}}}}\ \longleftarrow \underline{\underline{\sf{Ans}}}
