Jean Baptiste Tavernier, a French traveller  mentioned about a huge diamond that was set in the Peacock Throne.Tavernier was a French gem merchant who travelled between Persia and India six times between 1630 and 1668.  He called it the Diamanta Grande Table. It was a huge diamond of more than 400 carats that was set in the Peacock Throne.
