According to kinetic theory of gases, RMS velocity of a gas is given by -
vrms = √(3RT/M)
vrms ∝ √T
Now we have v' = 4v,
v' / v = √T' / √T
4v / v = √T' / √300
T' = 16 × 300
T' = 4800 K
Therefore, RMS velocity will be 4 times at the temperature of 4800 K.
