Kite the two adjacent sides are equal
as
CB = AB
9x - 12 = 3x + 6
9x - 3x = 6 + 12
6x = 18
x = 3cm
CB = AB
9(3) - 12 = 3(3) + 6
27 - 12 = 9 + 6
15 = 15
so the perimeter of kite
AB + BC + CD + AD
= 15 + 15 + 5 +5
= 30 + 10
= 40cm
