I thik You are correct. It's all because of day by day increasing scam and briber in our country.
According to me ....I thik our government system, our political leaders are not good. That's the main reason here .All are briber. ..And they only wanted to fullfill their needs. They don't care about common people and about country.
In the development of a country a teacher and a leader both play a very important role.
But in our country I thik there is lack of it.
All our young generation wants to become doctor, engineer, etc. No one wants to be an honest leader or hard working teacher .Very few are there. So I thik it's the main reason.
Thank you

There is a big difference between GDP(Gross Domestic Product) and Per-capita income...
The GDP represents the size of an economy, where HRD represents the the living condition of each individual in a country....
Whereas Per-capita income represents the average income of an individual.
So we can't judge a country by just looking at it's GDP solely or HRDI(human resource development index) or Per-capita income.
For eg: Let us take the case of India. Kerala is a South Indian state where the pre-capita income only averages. But it's one of the state having high literacy rate and ranks 1 in HDI(human development index). Even though the per-capita income is lower, the citizens have a great access to health and care, education, aminities, unlike any other state..
Let's take the case of China and Qatar.
Chinais the largest economy in this world. It had even over took US now..But there the per-capita income and hdi only averages..
But in Qatar, even though the economy is not too large, it's the most richest nation in terms of per-capita income..It ranks number one in this world.
It's an interesting fact to note that even now 16% of the citizens in US lives below poverty.
We'll know that China ranks one in terms of GDP and India ranks 3..
But actually, China is experiencing a more worst government and leadership..First of all, it's not a democratic nation..China is infamous for it's bribes...Even if people turns against the government, then the government will brutally harass and even kill them..(Before 30 years, 10000 of college students were killed in China by the army, by running tanker over them)
