According to newton's first law, a body in its uniform state of motion will continue in the dame state forever. However, it is observed that moving bodies always stop. Explain the observation to prove that newton's first law is correct

According to the first law the body tries to be in its state of rest or uniform motion unless it is influenced by an external force. It never stays forever.It just resist to change its position.

It's is a law , and a law can't be prove !!
basically , it is an experimental observation ..
Moving Body LL not come to rest , if we neglect friction, air resistance , vicousity of air , and other factors !!
And u can co relate with energy , we must spend some energy to stop a moving object but all we know that ENERGY is conversed in nature
