According to Newton's Laws of Gravitation.. for each and every force there's an equal and opposite force acting on it. But the forces of attraction due to gravity are not same, as the Mass of the gigantic Earth is Million times more than the mass of the apple. Of course the apple will get pulled towards the earth. Not the Earth will get pulled by the apple.
Even if the Whole 7-8 billion population of people jumped after gathering in one place, the earth wont move but will get some effect of the jumping and we too will be able to feel the equal and opposite force.
Thanks
