According to ohm’s , current flowing through a conductor
V=IR
Here R resistance, which depends on length of the conductor and inversely depend on area of cross
section of the wire
R α l/a
When we doubled resistance of the conductor what would be change in values of current and voltage
in the given conductor weather it increases or decrease
a) What would be effect on current? Increase/decrease
b) What would be the effect on the voltage in this case? Increase/decrease

Changing the resistance only changes the current for a fixed V..so current is decreased..but voltage is not
