According to photosynthesis process the first step is sunlight is trapped by chlorophyll and after the last step the sunlight energy convert into chemical energy .Can we say that this is example of transformation of energy ?

conversion of light energy into chemical energy is a part of photosynthesis( termed photophosphorylation). hence photosynthesis can be an example of transformation of energy but not the whole process(photophosphorylation is).
