but the question is it why it is only in squre why. not just hypotenius is =to per+base

The hypotenuse can not just be equal to base + perpendicular because the sum of base and perpendicular will be greater than hypotenuse so if the sum of base and perpendicular is greater than hypotenuse, it will not form a right angle triangle.
So we have to take square of the base and perpendicular and then add them in order to get hypotenuse of triangle.
