Answer:
Faith can move mountains, everybody says.
In the chapter, Lencho's firm faith and belief in God helped him in the time of darkness. When the entire family was shaken by the hailstorm, Lencho stood by his ground, with hopes that God would help him. His faith was so strong that he went on to write a letter, addressed to God.
He received only 70 pesos but his faith in God did not break. Rather, it was the staff of the post office that, as he thought, stole the money, when they in the first place, had helped him.
The story portrays that a brim believer of God, who faith did not break at all in any case, failed to have belief in humans.
In my opinion, it still is a question to ponder upon, how can a man have faith in God whom he had never met but cannot have faith in the people who helped him?
