According to Pythagoras theorem 8² + 6² = 10²

Given:

       8² + 6²

To find:

According to Pythagoras theorem 8² + 6² = ?

Solution:

Pythagoras theorem.

  • Pythagoras Theorem which also called Pythagorean Theorem
  • It explains the relation between the sides of a right-angled triangle.
  • The sides of the right triangle are also called Pythagorean triples.

Pythagoras theorem says that "In a right-angled triangle,  the square of the hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides".

  • Where, the hypotenuse is the longest side, because it is opposite to the angle 90°.

Given 8² + 6²

According to Pythagoras theorem 8² + 6² will be equal to third side of the Triangle

⇒ 8² + 6²  = 64 + 36 = 100 = 10²

8² + 6² = 10²
