According to the concept of “survival of the fittest," if a population of birds eats worms that they find deep under ground by using their beaks, which members of the bird population would be more fit?

I guess birds with longer,stronger and slender beaks who can glide down perfectly fast in order to catch their prey and are also aggressive and obviously if these birds live closer to said worms are most likely to be more fit.
