According to the figure if two cubes of sides 3 cm x 3cm x 3 cm joined end to end, what are the sides of resulting cuboid​

The surface area of the resulting cuboid is 126 square centimeter

Solution:

When three cubes of side 3 cm are joined, the resulting shape is a cuboid of length 3 + 3 + 3 cm

Width and height remains same

Length = 3 + 3 + 3 = 9 cm

width = 3 cm

height = 3 cm

Find the surface area of the resulting cuboid

2(lb+bh+hl)

2(9×3+3×3+9×3)

2(27+9+27)

2(63)

126cm^2

Thus the surface area of the resulting cuboid is 126 square centimeter
