The square of time period of any planet revolution around the sun is directly proportional to the cube of mean distance.


T^2 directly prop. r^3


(r= mean distance only for elliptical orbit)


T^2 = Ks r^3


Ks = Kepler's constant.


Where,

Ks = 4π^2/GMs


= 2.97 ×10^-17 sec^2/m^3


Ms = mass of sun.
