The rise in global temperature is the main cause of thinning of ice sheets of Greenland. The volume of ice that is lost as a result of surface melting is alarming. This in turn causes the sea levels to rise.
Global temperature has been on the rise since the last few decades, because of mankind’s reckless actions, with least regard to global pollution. It is only in recent times that the world has got together, to tackle problems created by emissions and other pollutants.
