George and Harris were said to be the worst packers in the story, and indeed they were. They started packing their food hamper with breaking a cup. A little later, they put the tomatoes at the bottom and smashed them by putting strawberry jam on top and, at last, had to pick it out with a teaspoon. Then, George trod on the butter, and when he managed to get the butter off his slippers, they tried to put it in a kettle but it couldn't go in, and what was in couldn't come out and hence they had to scrape it out at last. Then, they put the butter on a chair, on which Harris sat. They kept on searching for it all the time and it was finally found to be stuck on Harris's back. They finally got it off and packed it in a teapot. They put things behind them and couldn't find them when they needed, they sat and stepped on things, they packed the pies at the bottom and put heavy things on top and smashed the pies in. They created a huge chaos while packing.
