If the object is a massive truck parked along the roadside, it will probably not move. A student justifies this by answering that the two opposite and equal forces cancel each other. truck did not move because the force applied is not enough to move the truck

As enough force to move the truck is not there the truck is not moving.
The third law is applicable when force is enough to move anything after it we can say that every object when pushed pushes back on us.
