According to the upnishads, how can one attain moksha?
Answers
Answer:
For Moksha, an Enlightened Spiritual Master - a Sadguru - is required. Only an authentic Spiritual Master, who has recognized his SELF, can guide a seeker.
But, where will you find one? No truly Enlightened One will carry a board saying that he is liberated. It is only by an immeasurably great Karma. Another very important factor is your desire for Moksha or Mukti. When there is this auspicious desire, the Universe or Brahman will manifest in a human form (Sadguru) and guide you.
After you meet your Sadguru (I am not referring to Jaggi Vasudev), you shall receive the knowledge of your SELF - Atma Jnana. You must then contemplate on it. The Guru will give you the knowledge using logic, and this you must understand and send deep into your subconscious mind, to remove the wrong thoughts based on your ignorance. You must contemplate.
Then, you should abide in the SELF. As Shri Ramana Maharshi says, “Summa Iru” - “Be Silent”. You must protect the wealth - of Atma Jnana - by abiding in the SELF and knowing who you are, because there will still be the wrong thoughts which were programmed because of your ignorance till then.
Answer:
