Hari was a thief when he met Anil a simple trustworthy guy.

He started working at Anil’s place to con him.

Hari never had any friend in his life and he knows Anil spends all of his money on his friends.

And somewhere between Hari and Anil, a friendly bond started to build which made Hari feel bad when he stole from Anil, thus his motif to steal Anil fails.

It made Hari feel that friends are troublesome than of help as the friendship bound him not to steal.
