according to you the light rays do not bend so my question is that isn't gravity able to bend the light rays or isn't water is able to bend the light rays.​

I think you get understand from the above picture because see gravity able to bend the light rays but isn't water is able to find the light rays yes it is the diverging of the light that also passes from the water also we also can say this statement

Answer:

no gravity can't bent the light rays. Light ray bend only when they travel from one medium to other.

e.g.- air to water , air to solid , water to solid ,etc.

Hence ,when light rays travel from air to water it bend at some extent.
