(2) an aqueous solution has pH value of 7.o. Is this solution acidic, basic, neutral?
(3) which has a higher pH value,1 M HCL or 1 M NAOH solution?
(4) tooth enamel is one of the hardest substances in our body. how does it undergo damage due to eating chocolates and sweets? what should we do to prevent it?

1.pH=-log10[H3O+]
As the pH value increase concentration of
H3O+ ions decreaces.
2.neutral
3.NaOH has higher pH because it is a base
4.by eating sweets and chocolates they stick to our teeth and microorganisms present in our mouth converts it to acid and corrodes tooth enamel.
5. H+ ions exist in water as H+(aq) or H3O+ ions because hydrogen cannot exist in mono molecule so it reacts with water to form H3O+
Ions
H+ + H2O---H3O+

Answer:1) As the concentration of hydrogen ion increases the pH of the solution decreases and vice-a-versa.

2) Neutral

3) 1M of NaOH has higher pH as it is basic in nature and bases have a higher pH.

4) chocolate and sweets stick to our teeth causing growth of microorganisms, these organisms produce acids which corrode our teeth. We can prevent it by brushing our teeth properly to prevent accumulation of such microorganisms.

5) H+ ions exist as H3O+ ions as hydrogen cannot exist as mono molecule
