account for the following
a)when sugar crystal dissolve in water the level of water does not rise appeliably.
b)archit dropped a crystal of potassium permanganate into two beakers A and
B containing hot water and cold water respectively.after keeping the beakers undisturbed for some time what did he observe and why?​

Answer:

a)the water level donot rise when sugar is added to water becoz the sugar crystal gets dissolved in water and goes into the spaces between the water molecules and does not occupies any extra space .

b) we will observe that the beaker B containing hot water will dissolve potassium permagnate in it more faster than in beaker A containing cold water becoz the rise in temperature increases the speed of molecules.
