account the following when concentrated H2 S o4 is added to an organic mixture containing chloride acid is produced but if the mixture contains Bromide then we get paper Bromine​

Here's the answer-

Conc. H2SO4 when reacts with chloride ions present in organic mixture , the product will be acid as Conc. H2SO4 is not enough strong oxidising agent or chloride ion is not strong as reducing agent which can oxidise or reduce the ion present in it .

But in case of bromide ion, the bromide ions are strong reducing agents which can reduce Sulfuric acid to sulfur dioxide gas and getting itself oxidize to bromine atom.
