Acetone evaporates in normals room temperature. Why do we have to heat it to its boiling point

the boiling point is the temperature

when the vapour pressure become equal

ambient pressure , but their are still molecule in the gas phase over the liquid before it reach it's boiling point . the total pressure is the sum of the partial pressure of acetone and atmosphere ....
