Acid rain is caused by the chemicals reaction that beings when compound like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide are releses into the air. These substance rise very high into the atmosphere, where they mix and react with water oxygen and other chemicals to form more acid

Acid Rain: Acid rain is a rain caused by the emission of Sulfur dioxide and Nitrogen. When Sulphur dioxide and Nitrogen oxide reacts with water molecules in the atmosphere, it gets converted into an acid. Acid rain has many adverse impacts on historical monuments, Buildings, Bridges and machines.

Effects of Acid Rain: Acid rain cause Corrosion of Steel structures such as Machines. The other things made from Metals also suffer from Corrosion. Acid rain can considerably increase the rate of Corrosion of steel structures such as Bridges.
