Dip the strip of litmus into the test tube then if the color won't change solution is neutral
If the color changes to blue then solution is basic and
If it remains red then it is acidic

if we dip red litmus in three test tube, the test tube which will change into blue colour is acid, then did in two left solution, the solution which will convert into red colour base and rest test tube contain neutral solution.
