Acidic, basic and neutral solution are given in three test tubes and you are given a strip of red litmuns?how will you identify the three solution ?

We can identify in acidic solutions as when we dip the red litmus it will remain red .
We can identify in basic solution as when we dip the red litmus it turns into blue.
We can identify in neutral solution as when we the litmus paper its colour will not changed.

☛ Indicators are those Substance which Are helpful to us whenever We want to Differentiate between Acid, Base and Neutral substance. It Changes its colour with refer to those Earlier mentioned substances, [ Acid, Base Or Salts]

◇ Here, we have a Strip of Red litmus. So Question is, How can we identify the three solutions when red litmus dipped into it.

✔Observations

→ The Strip of Red Litmus paper will Turn Blue In Bases. Ex- Calcium hydroxide
→ It will Remain Red In Acidic Solutions. Ex - Citric acid
→ It won't change Its colour in any neutral substance. Ex- Water.
