in case of terminal alkynes they loose 1 hydrogen and due to tripple bond they can stabilise the generetated (-)ve charge over them...this happens bcz Carbon of alkyne will be sp hybridised possesing 50% s character and s charactrr is directly propotional to acidic strength..even the sp Carbon is more electro negative than nitrogen..therefore acetylene can stabilise (-)ve charge over it hence bcm acidic...its not only aplicable for acetylene.it is applicable for all types of terminal alkyne...
