Acidic oxides are isually non- metallic oxides. So, when we dissolve a acidic oxides in water, we get an acid, which is very dilute. For eg., when CO2 is reacted with water, it forms carbonic acid. Similary, when SO2 gas reacts with water it forms sulphuric acid.
