because if we store acids in metal bottles then it will react with them

Here's your answer mate....

There are a few reasons actually

.1) most high quality lab acids are still stored/sold in glass, the latest improvement ( for safety) is a plastic film around the bottle so if the bottle is dropped on the floor the glass is not chattered around and you’ve got possible a limited spilling of the acid.

2) But these days many liquid chemicals are delivered in plastic bottles ( HDPE mostly) for a few reasons, costs, less weight & volume = less transport costs, less risk during transport ( & less styrofoam needed ), less risk for the laboratory workers, dropping a bottle is no problem, the plastic ones don’t break.
