If the soil in the field is highly acidic ,then we need to add bases in the soil

the two bases which we use are:-

1:- calcium hydroxide -- Ca{oh}2

2:- calcium carbonate -- CaCO3

these bases have power to neutralize the excess acid in the field.the bases neutralize the acids and thus makes the field safer from acidic medium. if acidic medium is being in the field then it reduce its fertility
