Ex.HCL WATER/(dissociation)H+ + CL-
HNO3 Water/(dissociation)H+ + NO3-
BASE:A substance which on dissolving in water gives rise to the OH- ions as the only anion is called as Base
Ex.NaOH wayer/(dissociation) Na+ + OH-
Ca(OH) water/(dissociation) Ca^2+ +2OH-
SALT: An acid reacts with a base to form a salt and water is called the neutraliation
Ex. HCL + NaOH=NaCl + H2O
