acid do not have acidic behaviour in the absence of water but aqueous solution of an acid conduct electricity this is because without water acid is a part of solid material but if we mixed water in the acid it can produce electricity...
lime water is an best example of it

Acids do not have acidic behavior in absence of water but aqueaous sol. Of an acid conducts electricity as in aqueaous solution water is impurities then conducts electricity because in impure water have many particle to conducts electricity.
