Explanation:

I'm torn and broken

Every direction I turn

Every tiny step I take

Leads me closer to the edge

Eyes clouded of denial

And promise of satisfaction

From those who should love me most

Hate me enough to choke words down my throat

Place disgusting, inconsiderable thoughts in my head

The only place I can feel safe, polluted

Ignorant actions, controlled by the strings

I'm a puddle in their hands

Hands in which I can't escape

Walls that keep me hidden from myself

Words I can only bleed

Tears of red, the only tears I can cry

Weakness is punished

Free will has consequences

They say hold on

Until your independent

But once I'm free

My identity will have been tainted

My name will not be mine
