"Manners" - Jessica is a daughter to Shylock just by blood but she doesn't consider herself equal to him in his way of behaviour (wicked and miser behaviour).

"strife" - She wants to end the strife in her mind about being a lovely wife to Lorenzo or a daughter to her wicked father.
