Formic Acid

Usually, ants sting as a natural defence mechanism. It is quite fatal for those ants as after stinging, their stinger is lost and they forcibly release formic acid from their poison gland. The fact that Formic acid is 10x stronger than acetic acid makes it act as a corrosive agent for the skin.
