when water reacted with quick lime it produces heat i.e it is an exothermic reaction.

i.e

HEY....

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

❤️ When Calcium oxide i.e. quick lime is added to water filled in a bucket, it reactsvigorously with water to produce slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) releasing a large amount of heat. ... H2O + CaO gives Ca(OH)2, and an appreciable amount of heat is given off (that is, it is a highly exothermic reaction).

❤️ When we combine Calcium oxide (CaO) known as lime with water it will forms >Ca(OH)2

CaO + H20 >> Ca (OH)2
