The proverb Actions speak louder than words means that what you do is more important than what you say. It Is well known fact that ‘Action’ carry more meaning and importance than what a person says. People are recognized more for the things that they are doing instead of the words that they utter.

To say something and to do something are two different things. People often do not do what they say. For example, Politicians make many heart touching promises before elections. But after the election is over, and when they elected we all know how their action goes. In contrary there have been many famous personalities in society, who were quiet with their words but silently went on to achieve great things in life, example our former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Mahatma Gandhi.

Thus, the proverb actions speak louder than words suggest that actions are more reliable indicator of a person’s thoughts than their words are.
