active immunization means that your body has made antibody yourself by facing some pathogens by whatever means. passive immunization means that antibody is made outside and it is just given to your body . for example, you want to prevent yourself from a certain disease, here you can get vaccination as option. but if a poisonous snake had bitten you, then you will require an immediate response, here passive immunization works.
