to identify active voice
you will see that the subject does some work.
eg. raj takes a ball.
to identify passive voice
you will see that that object is starting the sentence and some effect by the subject is seen.
eg. a ball is taken by raj
and always remember when you are converting an active sentence to passive the verd should be in third form.
in the sentence above the verb is take
take is the 1st form
took is 2nd form
taken is 3rd form
