Active voice when subject is telling about something ...wheras in passive voice is something isaid about the subject.. in passive voice subject of the active voice becomes the object of the passive voice and object of the active voice becomes subject of the passive voice ..
there are altogether 12 tenses but 8 are of them which can be changed from active to passive ..
ex from active voice to passive voice..
Ram eats a mango...(simple present tense ) (structure for passive voice - subject +is /am / are + v3 + ob)..
in passive voice it will be .-
A mango is eaten by Ram..
here you can see the subject of the active voice that is Ram is the object of the passive voice whereas object of the passive voice that is A mango is the subject of the passive voice ..
therefore all 8 tenses have their own structure to make active to passive ...
