Active voice: They do not grow rice
Passive voice: Rice is not grown by them

Here in passive voice we have used singular i.e. IS but I think we should use that rice are not grown by them. Can anyone tell why we have used IS.

Answer:

We should use 'IS' IN the Passive Voice because in the Active Voice, it's singular so in passive voice too we have to use singular form. We cannot change the Form of the verbs while changing.

Hope it helps
